Born in Israel, Esty is the youngest daughter of Holocaust Survivor parents. She sees the world through the lens of a resilient family who made their dreams come true. At 19, her first professional broadcast interviews were Motown music legends Gladys Knight & the Pips and impressionist Rich Little, the man of 1,000 voices when Esty was a radio announcer in Phoenix, Arizona. Three years later, Esty and more than 100 co-workers were held hostage in Washington, DC during America’s First Major Terror Attack which shut down the city for two days. A move to San Diego re-ignited her love of the beach and entry into advertising, marketing, and television. As a writer/producer for KNSD-TV, she earned her first Emmy award for a station image campaign modeled after NBC’s “Just Watch Us Now.” In Denver, she worked for KUSA-TV for more than ten years and earned 3 more Emmys, a host of Tellys and other writing/producing/video awards. She formed Esty Creative in 1995 to work with independent clients, cable networks, and non-profit organizations and business owners. That’s when she met Mark Burr of Reel Creative Productions and the rest is video history! She loves the process of working with talented people to create impactful stories that help others achieve their success.
Will began his career performing. A veteran of stage plays and rock and roll bands, with an interest in motion pictures, inspired Will to direct some energy behind-the-scenes where he discovered an aptitude in the soup to nuts aspects of media production. Comfortable diving into everything from set construction, light, and prep, to camera operation, sound, and edit, Will is an eclectic blend of tech meets mech.
Like the rest of us, Rachel wears many hats. For Reel Creative, she serves as our “go-to” person for all around production assistance. Rachel began her career in media. She worked in TV News as a floor director and produced AM Sunday on Channel 2, KWGN. She also created her own radio program, Corner Café, that she continues to host and produce on 95.3 FM.
